Even worthless or damaged objects may be given new brightness due to the real simple and effective technique:
After preparing the base material [such as paper, cardboard, synthetic material, wood, styrofoam, metal, glass, porcellaine, casted ceramics, wax, tissue (non- washable) and even natural leaves] by applying a slightly gluey solution (milk) the extremely thin design metal will adhere very firmly.

Some nice contrasting effects may be achieved by using the different gold-, silver and copper shades in combination with the variegated material. 

Even tiniest pieces of design metal may still be utilized.
