Instructions for insatalling the pressure plate:

The opening at the spigot (tool holder) on the hand screw press should be removed thoroughly of any paint residues (at the opening edge and the threaded hole) so that the spigot can be inserted easily into the opening provided in the press.

Best suited for this purpose is a triangular scraper with which you clean the opening edge and the inside of the bore with gentle pressure.

It is important to insure that the locking screw for the spigot sufficiently retraced.

Subsequently the opening should be reground inside with a finer sandpaper (Grinding 320 - 400).

The spigot should be lightly greased (commercial machine grease) before installation.

The pressure Plate may not be tilted when inserting into the tool holder.
