The universal bracket is adjustable and removable, spring-loaded lid clamp.

Remove the wire spring from the top of the tong
Loosen the wing nut
Place scorifiers into jaws of the holder
Slide the holder to secure the crucible in place
Tighten the wing nut before heating
Equipped with a sprung wire with triangle holder, which can be used to secure a lid
