DIA QUICK

- Diamond-impregnated felt wheels

DIA QUICK are diamond-impregnated felt wheels for the quick polishing of ceramics, alloys and synthetic materials. When the wheels are in use, heat is generated by friction, releasing the impregnated diamond particles at the contact point. Consequently a permanent supply of diamond particles is created resulting in the perfect polish.

  • 10 pcs.

Caution:

  • Screw the felt wheels onto suitable mandrels only.
  • Use on slow speed, i.e.: 5.000-10.000 rotations per minute.
  • Keep away from unqualified persons (e.g. children) because of the danger of swallowing. Only to be used by authorised persons.
  • Use only with safety glasses and a face mask.

Operating instructions:

  • Screw the felt wheel onto a mandrel (which suits the shape of the felt wheel) for slow speed operation.
  • Polish surface on a slow speed using soft pressure. The direction of polishing should be steadily changed; we recommend a rotation in circles.
  • After use clean the polished object under running water and store the felt wheel in original plastic tube as supplied.
  • When disposing of used felt wheels, please observe procedure operating in your country. The packaging is recyclable.

Notice:
The Dia-Quick felt wheels are the replacement for the polygold which is no longer available!

Safety recommendations for Rotary Tools

Notes on occupational safety when using rotating tools:

  • For your own safety, always adhere to the specified purposes and conditions of use (maximum speed, suitable material, etc.).
  • Wear protective equipment (safety goggles, gloves, etc.).
  • Use suction.
  • Always clamp shank tools as deeply as possible.
  • Bring the rotating tool up to working speed before use.
  • Avoid excessive pressure forces as these can lead to high heat generation and damage to the tool and work objects.
  • Avoid tilting or levering to minimize the risk of breakage.
  • Do not continue to use blunt or damaged tools and replace them immediately.
  • Check collets, drill chucks, etc. regularly to ensure they are working properly and replace if necessary.
