Packed with features specifically designed for the complexity of shooting gemstones and jewelry, it produces professional videos and images. For small objects (rings, earrings, etc.), GemCam is the first choice.

Hint:
For larger items (e.g. necklaces) we also recommend taking comparison photos with your smartphone, as these can sometimes lead to better results due to the technical differences.

How it works

• When using a smartphone with the GemLightbox Pro
  - install the free GemHub app on your smartphone
  - start the GemHub app and log in
  - connect the GemLightbox Pro to the app via Bluetooth
  - place/hang the object in the GemLightbox Pro
  - close the lid of the GemLightbox Pro
  - place the smartphone on the smartphone holder and align it
  - zoom the object using the app
  - rotate the object to the desired starting position using the turntable control via the app
  - set the focus
  - adjust the brightness control
• When using the GemCam with the GemLightbox Pro
  - install the GemHub app on your computer
  - connect the GemCam to the PC via USB
  - switch on the GemCam
  - start the GemHub app and log in
  - all of the camera's functions can be controlled via the app
  - to be able to remotely control the turntables via the app, connect the GemLightbox Pro to the computer via Bluetooth
  - remove the front cover of the GemLightbox Pro, as this is not needed when using the GemCam
  - place or hang the object in the GemLightbox
  - bring GemCam in desired position, the focus is automatically adjusted
  - if necessary, make further GemCam camera settings via the GemHub app

• if necessary, use and align the additional light spots

• take a photos and videos or both together - Done!
